Welcome to the Crest Resort located on the East shore of beautiful Houghton Lake....the “quiet side of the lake”. We provide very well maintained and remarkably clean one and two bedroom cottages on 150' of lake frontage. Our completely furnished cottages have well equipped kitchens, one or two full size beds as well as a full size sofa sleeper in the living room. Each cottage offers satellite T.V. With 200+ channels, WiFi, charcoal grills, picnic tables, and a quiet sitting area on your own patio.
The Crest Resort offers our guests a 14' deep V aluminum fishing boat free of charge with each cottage rental. 5 horse power trolling motors as well as two pontoon boats are available to rent. A paddle boat and a paddle surf board are available compliments of the Crest Resort.
Houghton Lake is less than three hours away from anywhere in the lower penninsula. It is surrounded with many things to do, including:

The Crest Resort offers our guests a variety of activities or just extra comfortable Adirondack chairs to relax in at the waters edge. We have a playground with swing set, wooden play set and covered sand box. Other games include; tether ball, horse shoes, ladder ball, boccie ball, croquet and a ping-pong table. We also have a campfire pit, a very grassy central area for picnicking, letting the children run and play or just relaxing. A fish cleaning station is available for our fisherman as well as an 80' dock. A coin operated laundry is available for your convenience. Portable crib, High chair, VCR and a variety of children's VHS tapes are available for a nominal fee.
